The Bath House
This 19th-century bath house is full of charming character.
Nestled in the heart of beautiful countryside, it overlooks its own lake, a garden folly, and rolling open fields beyond. Lovingly restored, many original features have been reinstated to honour the home’s heritage, while colour, warmth, and soul have been infused throughout—resulting in a truly elegant retreat.
The interiors celebrate an abundance of pattern and colour, carefully curated in a palette true to the home’s era. Rich reds, deep greens, and bold blues flow consistently throughout, creating a sense of Victorian romance and timeless elegance.
Upon entering The Bath House, guests are welcomed by a deep and luxurious painted kitchen in Little Greene’s Córdoba, accented by Ca’ Pietra’s Foundry Green brick tiles, a black traditional range cooker, and layers of textured fabrics. Handmade cabinetry lends sophisticated charm, while rich colours and leafy patterns immediately immerse visitors in the home’s distinctive world.

The dining room is swathed in the dramatic blue of Little Greene’s Etruria. Two large chandeliers hang from a decorative ceiling above an antique dining table, while sumptuous velvet window dressings contrast beautifully with a natural jute rug, all bespoke to the space. Designed with entertaining in mind, it offers a luxurious setting for any special occasion.
Each of the five double bedrooms boasts its own unique ensuite, where original period features are enhanced with thoughtful colour, intricate patterns, and carefully chosen products. The ensuite bathrooms are fully considered, featuring Ca’ Pietra’s striking tiles and exquisite basins from the London Basin Company.
